It's a tough job, but....

So this is a pretty groovy gig that I've signed up for - being a daddy. With all of the recent fuss about Mommy's Day it may have occurred to some of you to ask - what about Daddy's day? Well quite honestly (and don't let Colleen in on this secret) my part of all of this is just a bit too fun and easy to warrant a special day. Here are some of the "jobs" associated with my part of this adventure...

- Dress my little girl up in pretty much anything that says"I love my daddy" and then cuddle or play with her.
- Dress her up in her Baby Explorer outfit and take her for hikes.
- Read books to her until it is time to eat.
- Make up songs about the great adventures we will have together.
- Fly her around the house until she falls asleep
- Provide her a variety of places to sleep whenever she feels like both cuddling and sleeping.

Can you see what I mean ... this really isn't so hard. I am guessing that Colleen must be doing all of the hard stuff. I can honestly say that both Sequoia and I are pretty lucky to have her around.
