Friends and fish....

Sequoia stays busy these days between play dates, classes, and entertaining. Saturday she had her best bud Grant over to the house. They get together about once a week. Saturday they actually got together twice - once at our house and later in the day over at another friend's house for their son's high school graduation party.
Congratulations to Will Krom by the way....

Here is a picture of Grant and his mom Kim. Grant is a BIG boy for only being 3 weeks older than Sequoia. He is pretty entertained by himself as well and has great gummy smiles. In this picture he is wearing one of Sequoia's pink "SweetHeart" bibs - primarily to irritate his dad. Moms can be quite cruel....

Sequoia enjoys her many hours a day of exercising and exploring. We try to give her a variety of enriching experiences throughout the day. One that she particularly loves is her aquatic play mat.

She is really beginning to get active and enjoys her belly time. She is SOOOO very close to rolling over. I really thought that would be my father's day present.

She also gets plenty of back time along with a steady parade of toys and rattles to entertain herself with.

One of her favorite toys at the moment is this purple octopus. Perhaps if we handed her a stuffed sail boat she would enjoy that as well....but for now it is largely marine animals that she hangs out with.
