Sequoia had another fun Halloween parade at her daycare this year.
She was a fashionably cute giraffe this year.
Who knew giraffes had such big bellies?
This year Sequoia had the hang of it, knowing how to say the magic words while holding her bag open.
She made her special pumpkin bag at day care as one of her many art projects.
Colleen and I love getting her weekly art projects on Fridays. Often during the week Sequoia will tell us about them and we try to guess what they will look like.
We had a double Halloween this year as we were able to celebrate the holiday in our new neighborhood at our new house.
OK, so the house is 70 years old, not exactly new, but it is really cute and in a great community that we are excited to have Sequoia grow up in.
She helped us decorate our pumpkins using cool kid friendly Mr. Potato Head-like features.
I think that she did a great job.
For the community party she was a cute kitty cat.
There was a fun party down at the rec center that included a parade, playground, food and hay rides.
She had a great time at the playground.
Drank her share of lemonade.
Spent time talking to her parents.
And in general was excited to see so many kids running around all over the place.
She and Colleen caught the last hay ride of the evening.
I think they both had a great time.
After the party we went to the new house so that I could hand out candy and Sequoia and Colleen could walk around the neighborhood doing some good old fashioned door to door trick or treating.
based on her bag of goodies I would say that Sequoia did a great job of it.
Here's wishing everyone a great Holiday season.
