Sequoia Alsea Newberg finally decided to arrive last night at 5:51 pm. She weighed in at 8 pounds and 5 ounces and was 20 inches long. She has a very full head of beautiful brown hair just like her mom (thank goodness ... sorry to the fans of red heads everywhere..) She is healthy, happy and in love with Colleen. I have to admit that we think Sequoia is pretty special too!!!There are a ton of details that I will fill everyone in on in a subsequent posting, but for now the important things are that Sequoia arrived in great health and is about as perfect a little person as you could hope for. She is eating well and both she and Colleen are absolutely loving the bonding process. Sequoia's little personality is already shining through in so many surprising ways. We can not wait to introduce everyone to her very soon.
