Pumpkin chunkin time...

Sequoia, Colleen and I went to a local farm for a fall pumpkin festival again this year.
Sequoia had a ball. Her favorite part was her pony ride.
Her pony of choice was actually a donkey....a really cute donkey.
Being her mommy's daughter, it should not surprise anyone that Sequoia has a love of those plywood murals where you stick your head through the opening....
On her own, Sequoia decided to pose in all of them.
we attempted the corn maze, but Sequoia's attention span dictated that a retreat was in order after a short time spent following her in circles.
So the donkey ride was her favorite part of the day ... until she got a bag of kettle corn roughly the same size as her.
She enjoyed it...to say the least.
she also requested a butterfly for her face and sat very patiently while it was painted.
We were all quite surprised by how large the pumpkins were this year...big enough to require climbing on.
The view from the top was spectacular.
A we were leaving Sequoia played a game where she had to throw a ball and knock down witches hats from a hay bale. She did great and won her hobby-horse.

Grandmom says, "Sequoia shows once more how much she enjoys special days when she gets to dress up. As a giraffe she was very cute, but as a Kitty Kat she was just precious. Wish I could have seen her.... maybe next year!"

Love you all, Grandmom Leila
