The other week we got free tickets to go see the Ringling Brothers Circus in Baltimore. This was my first circus ever, although Sequoia went with Mommy last year so she was an expert.
We got there early so that we could go down on the floor and mingle with the circus performers up close.
Sequoia's eyes were huge when the elephant came out and started to paint a picture.
I have to admit it was pretty neat seeing an elephant up close, much less one so talented.
A highlight of the night for Sequoia was getting to hang out with Harrison, who is only a few days younger than Sequoia. He is the son of one of Colleen's coworkers.
She needs to keep an eye on him though as he was pretty sly about stealing her popcorn....actually they were very cute in how they shared their stuff.
They really enjoyed the show together and would point stuff out to one another.
I think these shots, although technically poor quality, really capture the crazy energy of the night.
These kids had a ball, as did their parents.
