A bit of a flashback....

Yesterday our little girl turned 10 days old - that's a pretty big landmark, right? OK, so I know it's not, but it just so happens that in my life it was since it represents the earliest photos I have with my mom's mother - my grandmother Marianne Olive Taylor Pedersen.

So let's flash back to January 9th 1968. I was 10 days old and based on how very beautiful and precious my Sequoia is, I must have been quite the looker myself. I was obviously enthralled with Grandma. I am glad that we have been able to continue the tradition of having the newest Newberg baby spend their 10th day of life with their maternal grandmother.

Here are two pictures of Sequoia at 10 days old in Mamasita Murphy's lap.

We are hoping that drinking the big Wendy's milkshakes is

just a temporary phase....

Evidently the wardrobe gene runs strong on Colleen's side of the family, although it would seem that the pink gene skips a generation.

Once again I'm having trouble leaving a comment....wonder if there would be more comments on the blog if it weren't for some "gremlins" preventing it?

Anyway, Sequoia's Great-Aunt Trudy and Grandmom are very happy to see baby Leo and our Mother showing up in today's blog. Such a nice surprise!
