A little sand between my toes...

With the weather being so nice lately, Sequoia and Colleen were able to take Aunt Kathleen to the beach while she was here.

Colleen and I both think it would be pretty groovy if Sequoia became a professional surfer at some point, if for no other reason than we would have to move to the tropics to follow her tour ... so any time at the beach is time well invested in our opinion.

Sequoia enjoyed interacting with her Aunt Kathleen.

She thought that maybe now that she is one, she might be able to wear mommy's sandals...

Well maybe with some adjustments to the straps...

Or maybe she will just have to wait a few more years to take advantage of her mom's stockpile of shoes.

In the mean time, you really should be bare foot at the beach anyway.

And this time of the year, it doesn't hurt to have somebody handy to pick you up and carry you when your little tootsies get cold in the water.

I love these two girls. Aren't they cute together?

YES, Leo ~ you are ONE lucky fella, having those two beautiful females in your life EVERY day in this wonderful world !! We are so happy and pleased for you. Actually, pleased for all of you, you're such a neat family!

We love you all "much", and are so thankgul for the blog that keeps us up-to-date and informed. Wish we lived closer together, but the blog makes it so easy to watch our little girl grow. Maybe we'll be able to make it down there again, soon, when both our schedules will allow. Meanwhile ~~ We Love You Guys! Grandmom and Granddad
