As with each new milestone, this year was Sequoia's first really interactive Christmas. She was excited about the presents, even though she still does not quite understand exactly what is going on. She was anxious to open up the french doors and get down to business.
She handed out presents and unwrapped presents without any concern about who they were to or from or for.
Without a doubt, her favorite gift this year was, and continues to be, her kitchenware set. She immediately set up her kitchen and started making daddy a plastic feast, insisting that I sit down and taste everything that she served me.
I don't think there is anything more adorable in this world than my darling little chef when she starts cracking herself up. She may not be the funniest person in the world, but you will never convince either her or I about it.

I know she DOES love her kitchen! I've seen her at work and it's obviously a joy for her to "prepare" special dishes for Daddy and Mommy!
