Daddy's girl...

I have said this a million times to a million people, but I had no idea what being a dad was going to be like....no idea at all. On top of that, I had no idea what being a dad to a little girl would be like, since I have yet to figure out girls of any age. Well whatever I thought it might be like - I never could have imagined how amazingly cool the reality would be. I certainly did not expect Sequoia to mature so quickly. I am astounded by her growth, her personality and her intelligence.
I am also amazed by her desire to be a BIG girl. She wants to do things for herself, and is a quick study. she puts the groceries away, helps make her own breakfast, picks out her clothes, puts away her dirty clothes. She loves to help and is actually a help when she does.
She cracks me up with her sense of humor and keeps me straight with her sense of order and makes me dance with her sense of rhythm.
Life is pretty groovy with her around.

Leo -- how very wonderful to have the blog back in our lives. I know I can not be the only one who has missed it so very much!

Sequoia is a real sweetie -- and we all love to catch up with her sunny smiles and lovely doings.

It's also good to see Mommy and Daddy with this little whirl-wind granddaughter of mine -- how Granddad would enjoy seeing these photos, as well.

Love you all....keep it up, please! mom
