We had a wonderful room in Yachats, right on the ocean. Sequoia enjoyed hanging out in the room, playing with the venetian blinds and looking out at the ocean.
She thought that the balcony was a spectacular playground and found it easy to entertain herself watching the waves and the steady parade of dogs walking along the beach.
She definitely thought that she could get use to this life style. One morning Sequoia and I took a nice walk along the beach while we let Colleen get her shower. She had a lot of fun exploring the shore and waving at the passing dogs.
She thought it was really funny when Colleen came out on the balcony and called out her name as we were heading back up from the beach.

You really had a GREAT place to stay in Yachats, didn't you? The Baby is so cute in the balcony scenes...what a little sweetie and a good little traveler she was, too!
Wish we could have been there...we get the 'fever' to see that coast again someday, and are just happy that we DID get out there a time or two while you were living there.
We're happy your trip was all that you had wanted it to be. Bet you can't wait to go again!
