After three days of Christmas, by the 26th everyone was more than ready to get out of the house for a little while, so we all packed up and headed in to DC and the Natural History Museum.
This was possibly not a unique idea as apparently half of the free world was also there. It was a fun trip in spite of the incredible crowds.
Sequoia enjoyed seeing parts of the museum from 7 feet up ... just goes to show that it is always good to look at things from a new perspective, even if you are only nine months old and all perspectives are new.
So after taking a moment to wave good-bye to all of her new friends at the Smithsonian, we were back on the road....

More great picturs of you all. Didn't you all have fun...Sequoia was so good for the whole trip, wasn't she? No one would have blamed her if she'd been fussy now and then, but she was just perfect.
Can't wait until we can see her again.
