On Monday, Colleen and Sequoia hosted their first Mommy's Group play date at our house. They had 10 kids over along with 8 other moms.
That is roughly 68 more limbs than our living room was designed to accommodate, but somehow it was still in one piece when I got home from work that night.
Colleen and Sequoia both really enjoy these get-togethers, and I am very happy for the support that they get from being a part of this group.
We have met some wonderful friends through the group who are at the same point in their lives - making it seem normal to discuss diapers and dinner in the same conversation. It definitely helps...

How wonderful for Sequoia to be growning up with her many little friends......and good for Colleen, also, to have the friendly support group of the other mothers.
